US Indian War Era, McKenny Patent 45-70 Bayonet Scabbard

Original era manufacture. Black painted steel scabbard body, with black folded leather frog and belt loop, with a large brass pivoting disc.The scabbard throat is marked, McKenny;s Pat. 1886. The scabbard body is clean, dent-free, with most of its finish remaining. The folded leather frog and loop are pliable, and exhibit scattered worm holes from storage.
