Soviet WWII Order of the Red Star Serial No 118983

Original era manufacture. An early production Red Star, with no damage to the enameled arms, and light wear to the central silver emblem. Elegant contour to the arms of the star, being much more pointed than the later issues. The backing plate is also of silver.The reverse displays a six digit serial number,118983, which is engraved below the screwpost. One online sourcelists an approximate issue date of mid 1943.
