Canadian Fenian Raid Era Document Lot, Burford Troop, 2nd Cavalry Regt

Original period manufacture. Interesting lot of two documents to a Charles Weir of Burford Ontario. The smaller of the two is his certificate of discharge showing service from December of 1866 to December of 1870. The larger document is a promotion document to Cornet in 1873. These now reside in rather cheap commercial frames and can be removed for shipping if so desired by the new owner. No damage, just normal age and wear.
