WW1 German Rabbit Ears Scissor Optics - June 1918

A well used set of the 'SF .14 G' 'Rabbit Ears' scissor optics complete with tripod & both in their original green German army paint.Optics have the maker name of ' 'GP Goerz Berlin' with ' S.F.14 G' & 'H6400' specification markings & serial number '7498' . 'H/6400 ' denotes the Graticule picture. Tripod marked to the maker 'CP Goerz , Berlin.' Leg adjustment is operational.Displays well when mounted on the tripod would be ideal for a bakcdrop or trench scene in ones collection. Ball joint mount is slightly loose due to old damage to the neck of the tripod mounting allowing the optics unit to tip forward if knocked.
