Robertsons Golly tennis player white waistcoat badge Marples & Beasley

A scarce original post war circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Golly tennis player promotional badge', this example with light blue coat, black hands and feet, white waistcoat which bears the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred'; the reverse impressed with maker's details in relief 'Marples & Beasley B'Ham'. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.Height approx 34mm.
