A scarce original circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Golly tennis player badge', this example with black hands and feet, bright blue coat, no pockets to his white waistcoat bearing the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred'; the reverse with impressed with maker's details in relief and in a circle 'W.REEVES & CO. LTD. 30 TENBY ST. B'HAM 1'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no enamel loss, manufacturers dimple flaw to head..Height approx 33mm.
