German Imperial Era, Child's Kindersabel, Cuirassier Pattern

Original era manufacture. German Imperial era child's sword (Kindersabel) made in the form of a cuirassier officers sword with nearly the same quality as a full-size service modal. The overall length is 28 inches with a 23 inch, triple etched, polished steel blade, which runs straight and true out to the rounded sharp point. Plated steel patina basket guard and pommel, with a fish skin wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire just like Papa's sword. Lightly dented black painted steel scabbard, with most of the original finish remaining.
