US Pre Civil War Batty Peace Flask 1853

Original period manufacture. Copper bodied flask with a brass collar and spout. Seams are sound, two carrying rings, one on each side of the body. Maker and date marked on the top of the collar, BATTY 1853. The internal cut-off spring no longer operates, missing the tip of the pour spot.
