Japanese WWII Order of the Golden Kite, 7th Class, Cased

Original period manufacture. A nice example of this silver medal with a gilded falcon. Complete with its issue case, original ribbon, and lapel button. Normal age and wear, no issues. Minimal wear to the purple silk interior covering. The Order of the Golden Kite was a purely military decoration awarded for bravery and the only Japanese order outlawed by the Allies at the end of WWII.
