Original U.S. M1910 Pick Mattock Axe With Canvas Carrier, Dated 1944-A tool used for such tasks as digging, trenching, and chopping. The axe and handle are meant to be taken apart and easily stored in the carrier.This authentic pick axe is maker marked and dated 1944. The handle itself is not marked--it is in solid condition. The cover is marked and dated 'W.C DUMAS MFG. CO 1944'. The axe and carrier appear to be unissued and in excellent condition.
