Original German WWII Late War Pioneer Combat Assault Pack (Pioniersturmgepäck)-The purpose of thePioniersturmgepäckwas to allow Pioneer troops to carry additional equipment they may need in combat. This pack includes a mess kit pouch in the top flap. The front of the backpack has two side loading compartments meant to hold demolition charges, grenades, etc.This authentic pack is in overall good condition. There are a few small holes/rips. Minor staining in several spots along with rust on the hardware. Its possible there is a web strap missing from one of the flaps.
