Original Imperial German WWI Early Brass Buckle

Original Imperial German WWI Early Brass Buckle-This authentic brass combat buckle is constructed of partially silvered-brass.The reverse features a 'U' shaped catch with steel roll bar and prongs - which are both intact. Unfortunately, it appears to have been previously polished which has slightly diminished it's original patina. Otherwise, it is still in very good condition.
