Original German WWII Heer Aluminum Belt Buckle (Koppelschloss) By R. Sieper & Sohne-This authentic WWII-era Heer belt buckle is crafted from aluminum and the front features an embossed Heer motto,'GOTT MIT UNS'(God With Us) and oakleaf motif, surrounding a National Army eagle, set against a well-preserved pebbled background.Some of the original paint is still visible on the front 15%, but 80% of the fieldgray paint mostly on the back. The reverse side bears the manufacturer's mark,'RS & S', confirming its production by Richard Sieper & Söhne of Lüdenscheid. Overall in very good, solid condition.
