Original German WWII Berliner Illustrierte Zeitung Newspaper (Berlin Illustrated Newspaper) Issue 1, Jan 1942-This newspaper type magazine is dated 8 January 1942.On the cover is what appears to be either a French or British airman on an airplane wing. One of the captions on the bottom is: Die Tragflache als Rettungsfloss! which translates to: The wing as a life-raft!There are great period photos, articles, and comics.Measures approximately 15' x 11' and has 16 pages. Some issues I've seen had staples keeping the pages intact, but this issue doesn't appear to have staples. Shows some age with discoloration and worn edges. There are small rips and torn edges. Unsure if there are any missing pages. In good, used condition.
