Original Third Reich HJ/BDM Breadbag With Modified Shoulder Strap

Original Third Reich HJ/BDM(Bund Deutscher Mädel)Breadbag With Modified Shoulder Strap-This is a rare HJ breadbag from the German League of Girls (Bund Deutscher Mädel). Many of these were used by women after the war and likely discarded making it a rare item. The edges are reinforced with leather similar to a boys' HJ breadbag.At some point in time, a shoulder strap was sewn on to the front of the bag (see pics for details).There are visible stains inside and out and rust on hardware. One of the leather straps on the inside flap is broken.
