Unissued Original German WWII Cotton Gas Cape Bag-This authentic German WWII Gas Cape Bag, also known as a Gas Sheet Bag, was designed to carry a 'Gas Cape' (Gasplane)—a protective fabric used by soldiers to shield themselves from chemical gas attacks during combat.Made from durable cotton, this unissued bag remains in excellent condition. There may be slight rust on the metal hardware, and the snap closures could exhibit minor corrosion, making them somewhat difficult to fasten.Slight storage wear may be present on the fabric.A visible manufacturer three letter code marking and dated '44' is present on the inside of the closure flap.
