Original German WWII M38 Gasmask Canister Dated 1943

Original German WWII M38 Gasmask Canister Dated 1943-This is an original German M38 gas mask canister, clearly marked with the three-letter manufacturer code 'ayc' and dated 1943 on the spare lens compartment cover. The canister doesnotinclude the gas mask, shoulder strap, or short retaining strap. It retains the majority of its original factory-applied dark field gray paint, with only minor rust spots and a small dent on the lid. Despite signs of use, it remains inexcellent conditionoverall and is a solid addition to any WWII collection.
