Original German WWII Heer/Waffen SS No Decal M42 Helmet Ex-Whitewashed hkp66

Original German WWII Heer/Waffen SS No Decal M42 Helmet Ex-Whitewashed hkp66- An original M42 helmet that has about 95% of the dark fieldgray paint is still on the outside of the helmet and we believe at one time it was whitewashed. There is traces of whitewash in the small cracks, around the rivets and on one vent hole. One front split pin is not original to the helmet, but is original with original fieldgray paint on it. The leather liner is used, complete, in excellent condition and has the original drawstring. The leather liner we believe is a size 58 since it is not marked on the leather and can not read on the outer liner band. Some dark fieldgray paint is missing on the inside dome. The markings are on the rim and is a 'hkp66' helmet. Does not come with a chinstrap. A good combat helmet with history. Very good to excellent condition.
