#15 Original Waffen SS Oakleaf B Type II Helmet Cover-This is an original Waffen SS helmet cover in the Oakleaf B camouflage pattern, Type II configuration. All three panels are constructed from Oakleaf B material; however, the center panel is from a different print run, displaying a noticeably lighter purple-brown background with lighter green tones.The foliage loops are a mix of Oakleaf A and B patterns, with some made from Planetree #2. The rocker clips are the steel type with aluminum rivets, showing some surface rust from age. On the fall side, the Oakleaf B fabric covers the internal spring system. One side spring is detached due to the rivet being improperly set—it was crushed and failed to pass through the second hole of the rocker hook.There is no visible size ink stamp. The cover is suitable for size 60 and 62 helmet shells.
