Description
Original German WWII Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) Wool PennantThis is a very nice example of a WWII-era GermanReichsarbeitsdienst(RAD – National Labor Service) woolWimpel(pennant flag). It is constructed of wool with a screen-printed design featuring a red field and a central white circle bearing the iconic RAD emblem: a stylized spade (shovelhead) with two sheaves of wheat radiating outward from the base at 45-degree angles. The pennant is invery good condition, showing some small holes likely from wear or moth activity, as well as general age toning. It does not have a header or any hanging fittings, suggesting it was intended to be tacked onto a wall, banner, or possibly affixed to a pole. It measures approximately 42 inches long and 28 inches at the widest edge.A hard-to-find original RAD pennant that displays well and remains in solid collectible condition. Please note: Photos are taken outdoors, so some areas may show slight shadowing. We are not affiliated with/or embrace the philosophies of any radical, political, or racist organizations.
