Original Third Reich NSDAP 10 Year Long Service Award 3rd Class Without Ribbon-This authentic NSDAP Long Service Award 2nd Class (Dienstauszeichnung der NSDAP, III. Klasse für 10 Jahre) was instituted on April 2, 1939, and awarded to members of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) in recognition of 10 years of loyal service. The decoration was issued in three grades: 3rd Class for 10 years, 2nd Class for 15 years, and 1st Class for 25 years of service. Both men and women were eligible—men typically wore the award on the left breast, while women wore a slightly slimmer version suspended from a neck ribbon.This authentic piece is an unmarked, 3rd Class award made of bronzed zinc. Majority of the original finish is still present throughout. The reverse bears the inscription'TREUE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK'('Loyalty to the Führer and People'). The original ribbon is not included, but the suspension loop is present. There are visible signs of light aging and marks. Overall, this piece is in very good condition with only light signs of age.
