Original German WWII 6x30 Binoculars ddx By Voigtlaender u. Sohn AGWith Accessories-This is a very nice original set of German WWII 6x30 Dienstglas binoculars, marked with the three-letter manufacturer code 'ddx', indicating production by Voigtländer u. Sohn AG, Braunschweig. A wartime issue example, it features the standard black textured finish, with light edge wear consistent with use.The binoculars are clearly marked Dienstglas 6x30, serial number 153755, and H/6400. The small 'O' marking indicates Kältefest (cold-weather resistance), denoting the use of Invarol grease for improved performance in low temperatures.Optics are excellent on both sides, with the right lens featuring a built-in rangefinder reticle. The eyepieces rotate smoothly, and the black Bakelite eyecups are fully intact with no chips or cracks.This set includes its original leather neck strap, which remains supple with a little stiffness and shows only minor signs of age. Also included is the original Bakelite lens cover, which is in excellent condition and has the soldiers name on the inside.
