Description

Original German WWII 7x50 Binoculars (Dienstglas) by Carl Zeiss with Damaged Case-These WWII-era binoculars are marked with the three-letter code 'blc,' identifying them as being manufactured by Carl Zeiss. The optics remain in excellent condition, fully functional, and include the original black rubber eye cups, which have minor cracking. The binoculars come with two additional lensesβ€”one for daytime and one for nighttime use. While the original neck strap is included, it is broken and features a leather button holder. The lens cover is missing, though the spring attachment for it remains on the binoculars. The textured exterior shows significant surface wear but is overall in very good condition. The accompanying leather case has some damage to the closure spring hardware, although the hinged lid remains intact. The case is maker marked 'Carl Zeiss/Jena' and bears a Waffenamt stamp with an 'M,' indicating Kriegsmarine (Navy) issue. While the shoulder strap is missing, the studs that would secure it are still present. The binoculars fit snugly inside the case, which shows surface wear consistent with age and use but is still in good condition.
