Original German WWII Metal M24 Stick Grenade Case Dated 42-This is an original German WWII M24 stick grenade metal carrying case, dated 1942. One side has been post-war painted green, while the other side and the interior retain the original wartime finish. It's possible the post-war paint could be removed to reveal more of the original paint underneath. The case is clearly marked with a three-letter manufacturer code, a Waffenamt stamp, and the date '42'.The wooden carrying handle is damaged, with one section still held on by surgical tape. The case opens and closes properly.
