Original German WWII k98 Cleaning Kit Marked '64'-A cleaning kit is a standard piece of equipment for German soldiers. The k98 cleaning kit is designated as a 'Reinigungsgerat 34 (RG34)'. These small steel cans were introduced in 1934 and contained a chain pull-through, two bore brushes, an oiler, and a cleaning tool for the receiver.This is a nice original K98 cleaning kit, marked '64' with a very faint Waffenamt code (WaA20) on the hinged lid. The metal container retains the majority of its factory paint, with some areas of exposed metal showing light surface rust, along with typical wear and tear. The kit includes an oiler, two brushes, and a pull chain. The takedown tool is not included. Overall, it remains in excellent condition.
