Original German WWII Police P08 Brown Leather Holster Dated 1942

Original German WWII Police P08 Brown Leather Holster Dated 1942-This is a beautiful and well-preserved serviced used P08 Luger holster aged to a nice dark brown leather. While the closure strap has been shortened, the holster retains much of its original charm. On the back, the manufacturer marking, date, and Waffenamt stamp have been blacked out—likely due to its post-war use by the East German police. Despite this, the date '1942' and a partial Waffenamt stamp remain visible. The closure flap on the back of the holster is partially detached from the body and requires rethreading or reattachment. Please refer to the attached pictures for further details.A rare, original takedown tool is included, stamped with eagle and swastika and Waffenamt number '359.' The holster shows signs of use but remains in overall very good to excellent condition, making it a desirable piece for collectors.
