The blade is marked '41clc' near the grip, with '297c' on the reverse, while the scabbard is stamped '4855.'Accompanying this bayonet is a rare, late-war natural brown leather frog dated 1945. This frog, in superb condition, displays a rich patina from age and careful storage. On the reverse, there is a partial manufacturer's marking, dating to a time when the RB numbering (Reichsbetriebsnummer) code system was typically assigned to manufacturers.
