Original German WWII Army/Luftwaffe Splinter A Brown Camouflage Dated 1939-This is a standard issue Heer/Luftwaffe shelter quarter, commonly known as aZeltbahn, featuring the rare and limited brown-tone Splinter A camouflage pattern. The camouflage is printed on the outer side only, with typical edge reinforcement on the reverse, which has the spring/summer side.The Zeltbahn is in excellent, lightly worn condition with no missing buttons. It has one nicely executed zig-zag stiched period 'L' shaped field repair. The lower right reverse corner retains a faint but visible ink stamp with the maker's name, location, and the date1939.This is an exceptionally scarce variation and highly desirable among advanced collectors today.
