Original German WWII Army/Luftwaffe Splinter A Early War Zeltbahn Marked & Dated 1942-This is an original early war German Zeltbahn featuring the classic 'Splinter A' camouflage pattern, with vibrant, well-preserved early war colors on both the spring/summer and fall/winter sides. It retains two large corner grommets, though one lower grommet is missing; the area would need repair before a replacement grommet can be installed. All of the smaller zinc grommets and original buttons are intact.The Zeltbahn includes two original ropes and shows scattered small holes on both panels, which could be repaired or left as-is depending on display or field use preference. A faint maker's mark and 1942 date stamp are visible along the edge of the fall camouflage side. Overall, it remains in good to very good condition and would make a solid addition to any WWII German field gear collection.
