Original Imperial Japanese 1914-1920 War Service Medal With Box-This medal was issued to naval personnel who served in the Japanese fleet in the Mediterranean during the Great War and to the military participating in the Japanese expedition to Siberia 1918-1922.The medal is blackened bronze with the Japanese inscription 'War Medal' on the bar. The reverse side of the ribbon has a hook that is intact. Due to age the ribbon shows some discoloration. The reverse side of the box is also inscribed. The top half of the box is missing. Overall still in very good condition.
