1971 Hickstead All England Jumping Course membership badge

A scarce original '1971 All England Jumping Course at Hickstead membership badge', gilt brass example inlaid with light blue enamel the centre depicting 'Saint George and the Dragon' with official issue number '1303' below, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ltd B'Ham.19' 'Not Transferable'. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel, complete with original cord.The All England Jumping Course at Hickstead is home of British showjumping and the Royal International Horse Show, it was founded in 1960 by the late 'Douglas Bunn'.
