US, 1930's French Foreign Legion, Movie Prop, WWI Kepi

Original era manufacture. A well made kepi, of olive brown wool with a green wool-felt bursting bomb at center, and green piping around the crown. The buckram lining is intact, with a blue-gray leather sweatband, and U.C.I. property markings in the crown.The black painted leather visor is handsewn to the body of the hat, and the leather chinstrap is secured with two brown painted steel buttons, each displaying the bursting bomb emblem.The hat displays honest wear and age, is about a size 7 1/4, and is, in my opinion, a well-made movie prop.
