Manufactured by Ferdinand Hoffstätter of Bonn am Rhein, this set includes:The black leatherette award case featuring a silver-outlined Iron Cross on the lid and functioning push-button clasp.The original cardboard outer box with clear printed text:'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Rh.'The cardboard box shows some signs of wear consistent with age but remains structurally intact and legible – a rare find as these were often discarded.
