U.S. (Airborne) BC-611 Handie Talkie 1942 - Nice Used Condition

U.S. (Airborne) BC-611 Radio Receiver or so-called Handie Talkie. This compromises an early war manufactored example with bakelite earphones. The original serial place is present and makers marked Galvin MFG. Corporation Chicago. The side is marked MFP 12-44 relating to the date that the radio has been refurbished and re-issued. The interior is in equal good condition with no corosion or damage. Not tested and sold as seen. However a very attractive U.S. (Airborne) BC-611 Handie Talkie used by Airborne troops during for instance D-Day and Market Garden. Hard to be upgraded.
