M42 Heer Single Decal Helmet ET66 Ex SS

M42 Heer single decal helmet by ET size 66, batch number 654. Nice example of a service worn infantry helmet with Adler decal retaining most finish and on the reverse, appears to have remnants of a period scraped decal, possibly indicating prior service in the SS. Helmet is complete with original liner and partial chinstrap, which also shows period repair. This helmet was found out of a recent estate clean out in New Jersey and likely not been on the market for a number of years or since the war. COA accompanies.
