Waffen-SS Panzer M43 Cap

This is an excellent condition, likely unworn Waffen-SS panzer M43 cap, circa 1943-44. The cap features a light grey herringbone lining with a size 56 ink stamp. The black wool body is finer quality and heavier duty than the super late Dachau caps, and is closed in front with a two-button closure. The buckram seam welts are present, as are the pull tabs in the inner flaps. The Bevo style trapezoid insignia is beautifully machine applied to the front. Overall a fine specimen. COA accompanies.
