Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet, Nagoya Arsenal

Original era manufacture. An early production bayonet featuring a bright finished blade, hooked guard, contoured wood grips and a steel patina finished scabbard. The blade displays an even steel patina finish, showing typical scattered discoloration from oil and age, but no damage or pitting from corrosion. Blue patina finish to the pommel and hooked guard, with original finish wooden grips displaying normal age and wear, in the form of scattered marring and denting from service use.  Blue steel patina finish scabbard with minimal denting, light scattered surface corrosion and spotting.
