A Luftwaffe M41 tropical cap. Overall condition quite poor, with tan cotton sun-bleached and some considerable staining indicating poor storage. Blue-backed Luftwaffe eagle and cockade to the front. Red cloth lining. Size stamped 58 with Witt of Berlin manufacturers stamp. Centre seam stitching on crown and long-bill peak which has lost its stiffness.
