EF M42 Waffen-SS Helmet

This is a killer Waffen-SS SS M42 helmet by EF, #2820, showing medium service use with remnants of whitewash, indicating the helmet was in a winter combat front. The finish shows a high degree of the fell draw factory, finish with some weathering and age tarnish, and some possible traces of blood corrosion. The liner is fully intact, and shows sweat darkening. The chinstrap is also fully intact and marked. The helmet liner band is dated 1943.
