WWII Japanese Service Bag-This is a small, olive drab colored cotton bag with lots of kanji. Yoshito Yoneda is the soldier's name. On one side it says, 'Contained items include certificate, badge, special school song for the army, entrance certificate, collection and point order, preparation for collection of Shika and other cash passbooks etc.' with the final line reading 'company attire'. It has a tie string closure. This was an important part of the Japanese soldier's uniform as it gave them a place to put important documentation etc. It measures 12 ¾' by 9'. It is in excellent condition.
