Description

A fine scarce die-stamped white metal example worn circa 1860-87. Crowned strung bugle with '1' over 'CRV' cypher between the strings to voided centre, Two toned loops to the reverse. VGCFormed 15th February, 1860 at Carlisle. Following consolidation in 1880, became part of 1st (Cumberland) VB Border Regt. in December 1887.
