WW2 Japanese Army Type 90 Combat Helmet
Ships from: United Kingdom
A textbook early to mid war Japanese Type 90 steel helmet in exceptional condition . A classic large sized version having a very very high percentage of the Imperial brown paint applied over orange primer ,this being an early factory feature . The star is good and tight to the shell . The interior is very good with what looks to be a little light blood staining to the front section of the liner . The leather is good and supple and in a nice mid to light brown hide . There are the usual Army only size markings punched to the rear area of the outer face of the liner band . The chinstraps remain a full uncut pair with correct mitering to the tips . In terms of conditions one of the best examples we have ever encountered .
