WW2 Dutch M27 Steel Combat Helmet

A super example of the rare M27 version of Dutch helmet.There are some rather subtle design features that divide the rarer as M27 version to the later and more common 34 model . This example is very much above average and is 100% complete . The outer finish shows the type that was applied with the run up to the inevitable war having a second greener coat applied and a black finish to the copper lion insignia . To the liner is a soldiers matriculation sewn tag and under one of the pads a nice clear 1932 acceptance stamp . The chinstrap remains with the original rolled strap excess , a very typical Dutch feature . Untouched and superb .
