US Civil War Era M1862 Zouave Bayonet Collins Mfg, 1861 Date

Original period manufacture. Bright, polished steel blade measures 20 inches in length. On the obverse ricasso is a date of 1861, and on the reverse Collins & Co. Hartford Conn. On the top of the cast brass grip is stamped 139. Very clean blade.
