Original period manufacture. Quill back blade measuring 23.75 inches in length, dark steel patina finish with good temper. Few spots of scattered pitting but nothing severe. Brass guard and pommel, pressed leather grips secured with four steel rivets, these have shrunken a bit as shown. No scabbard
