US WWI M1904 Leather Saddlebags, Canvas Liners & Two White Canvas Ration Bags, Long 1917

Original period manufacture. Russet leather bags in unused condition, exhibiting storage wear and age, and light surface dryness. All of the straps remain intact, minor surface scuffing is about all to say. Both of the white canvas inserts are present, along with two white cotton 'pokes' for salt, coffee or suger. Maker marked and dated on the connecting strap, LONG 1917 with inspectors initials of W.J.D.. The leather still creaks, with the only item to note would be a crease in the leather where the bags have been folded.
