These trousers were used for both work and drill and were a very common part of every German soldiers uniform . Many period images show these being worn while on campaign and upon the front lines particularly by engineers/artillery and other technical troops . This pair has a super set of issue and unit stamps including those of railway troops . Condition is excellent with just toning and signs of long term stable folded storage .
