A very rare ORIGINAL circa 1946 to 1974 period 'British European Airways BEA Flight Clerk badge'; gilt half wing the Astral Crown centre inlaid with red enamel inscribed 'Flight BEA Clerk'. Very good condition, complete with original screw post fittings, backing plate and nuts, no damage to the enamel, an excellent example.Size approx 51 x 25mm.A BEA Flight Clerk would have been responsible for various tasks related to passenger and baggage handling, including check-in, boarding, and providing customer service.
