(Note full-stops).At the start of World War 2, for security reasons sailors stopped wearing cap-tallies showing their ship's name. Tallies bearing HM Minesweeper and HM Destroyer were eventually replaced by a universal tally bearing only 'H.M.S.'This tally has been worn but is in very good to excellent condition. Scarce.
