Here on offer is a near mint example of a WW2 1939 German Iron Cross medal 2nd class, by Hermann Aurich of Dresden, along with a red, white and black striped ribbon.This Iron Cross has a magnetic core and as with some early Iron Crosses it is possible to rattle the iron inside of the frame. The centre retains all the original glossy black paint finishThe solid German silver outer casing of the Iron Cross is wonderful condition, retaining nearly all of the original bright silver frosting to the finish.It is a rare to find an Iron Cross that has maintained its gleaming silver finish through the years.The suspension ring is stamped with the PK code '113' that relates to the maker Hermann Aurich, of Dresden Germany.It comes with a long length of red, white and black striped ribbon that has been folded and is in excellent condition.It measures approximately 1.75' (4.4cm) square and weighs 20g.Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.Please see my TERMS OF BUSINESS regarding Deliver Charges and Insurance regarding additional insurance cover, should you require it, BEFORE the item is dispatched.The responsibility lies with the customer to check with your Customs restrictions that this item can be imported into your country.
